Sonic Dream Team is a new game coming exclusively to Apple Arcade. In this new 3D action platformer, you’ll find yourself chasing the evil Doctor Eggman, who has stumbled upon The Reverie, an ancient device with the extraordinary power to materialize dreams in the real world.
Sonic Dream Team puts you in the shoes of Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Rouge, and, in a long-awaited return, Cream. Each character boasts unique abilities categorized into three distinct movement types, all essential for navigating the 12 levels across four dream worlds.
These worlds feature mind-bending environments, including elements like wall-running and gravity alterations. To add an extra layer of excitement, each dream world concludes with a challenging boss fight that tests your skills across various movement types.
Introducing a brand-new character, Ariem, a ram figure inspired by the zodiac sign Aries, sporting a distinctive moon tattoo on her forehead. Ariem’s role in assisting Sonic and the gang in their quest adds an intriguing dynamic to the storyline.
Sonic Dream Team marks the third Sonic installment on Apple Arcade, joining Sonic Racing and Sonic Dash+, and the fifth Sega title overall, alongside Samba de Amigo: Party-To-Go and Football Manager 2023. What’s particularly exciting is that this is the first mobile Sonic game to offer a seamless cross-platform gaming experience.
This means that fans can enjoy Sonic Dream Team not only on their iPhones and iPads but also on larger screens through Mac and Apple TV, ensuring an even more immersive and expansive adventure.
