Description

Grift: Scam Tycoon, an upcoming game from developer Bodeville, is set to release later this month. In this intriguing storyline, players assume the role of Henry Horns, a goat who, after falling in love with an online soulmate named Gwendolyn Goat, becomes entangled in a web of deceit.

Following a period of online courtship, tragedy strikes when Gwendolyn urgently needs financial assistance. Driven by love, you willingly provide the funds, only to discover that her entire online presence vanishes shortly after the transaction.

Now confronted with a scam that turns your world upside down, you’re determined to seek revenge on the one who duped you out of both money and emotions. To track down Gwendolyn, you adopt the persona of a grifter, creating online characters or “bots” to deceive others over the internet. Think of it as a twist on Death Wish, where you’re Charles Bronson, but instead of violence, it involves catfishing.

Grift: Scam Tycoon boasts a cast of over 40 characters to interact with (or attempt to scam) and a plethora of items to outfit and customize your online bots. The goal is to climb to the top of the scamming world while simultaneously searching for your nemesis, Gwendolyn Goat.

The game is available for pre-order on iOS and Android. For those in New Zealand, the game has already launched, providing an early opportunity to embark on your online scamming adventures ahead of the global release.
