Shaman King Funbari Chronicle is the first and official mobile game of the popular anime Shaman King. This released is limited for Japan and at this date the game haven’t been an announcement for a global release. The game is also in Japanese only, with a limited amount of English for some menus. So if you want to play it on Android or Apple devices, we may need to use a VPN.
Shaman King Funbari Chronicle is a gacha game. You will need to complete the tutorial before other parts of the game unlock. At the end we will receive 10 free gacha pulls to allow you to get a starting team of Shamans. You can receive duplicates of Shamans in your gacha pulls and like in other gacha games it will help us to level up our main characters.
The Shamans you pull via the gacha have different “rarities.” These ranges from 1 star to 5 stars. Players can form their own original team from the various Shaman appearing in the series. It has a nice mode called “The Mangatic Mode” reproduces poplar moments from the “Shaman King” series in a comic-esque aesthetic. It also has original illustrations exclusive made for the game.
The battles are turn-based RPG, there is no quick-time actions. Shaman King Funbari Chronicle have many icons and images which can assist in doing the core gameplay. There is no official PC version of the game is being released, but we can use Android emulators such as BlueStacks. We have to download through the Japanese App Store. It does have online components, so internet is required.
We can download the new Shaman King through the App Stores. If we can’t changue our region, we may look for an APK or a VPN for iOS. The game will require some knowledge of Japanese in order to play. Some portions of the game may be easier to play with limited to no knowledge of Japanese and by following some guides online.
It is free to download but includes In-App Purchases. A proper review will be made for a global release.
