Playdigious has just revealed that Potion Permit is set to make its mobile debut this February 6th, 2024. This simulation RPG will be released as a premium title on mobile, featuring various optimizations for an enhanced gaming experience.
In Potion Permit, a significant portion of the narrative revolves around navigating the town to meet the diverse needs of its inhabitants. Whether it’s making friends or tackling fetch quests from the local bulletin board, each completed mission unravels a piece of the overarching mystery, creating a story puzzle.
The game operates on a day and night cycle, independent of real-world time, akin to Stardew Valley. Players are allotted a specific duration of daylight to accomplish tasks, forage, engage in combat, and tend to the town’s residents. While this keeps players engaged, some may find the days passing too quickly, leaving them surprised as darkness descends.
Moonbury, the game’s setting, is teeming with distinct characters, each crafted with recognizable and unique personalities, not generic NPCs. Potion Permit introduces romanceable bachelors and bachelorettes as the storyline progresses, and players are swiftly introduced to the town’s charming tradition of gifting Moon Cloves for friendship boosts.
The mobile version of Potion Permit comes with additional features such as Game Center achievements, cloud saves, controller support, and optimization for iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Pro, and Pro Max. Pre-orders are currently available on the App Store at a discounted price of $4.99, with the regular launch price set at $6.99. Similarly, pre-registrations on Google Play offer a 30% discount. The game is scheduled for release on February 6th, 2024.
