Google Play has just announced the winners of their Best Google Play Games of 2023, which is the platform’s annual celebration of the best apps and games to hit the store. Inspired by various trends seen this year, several new categories were introduced such as Best with AI, Best Game for Good, Best Multi-device App and Game, and Best for Google Play Games on PC. The top-ranking game in Google Play’s Best of 2023 was predictably Honkai: Star Rail. HoYoverse’s acclaimed sci-fi spectacle stood out for its rich content, breathtaking visuals, and impeccable design.
Honkai: Star Rail earns the title of the best game of the year, boasting exceptional depth of content, stunning visuals, and thoughtful design. The game’s immersive experience, enriched with lore and character backstories, provides enduring entertainment for both seasoned role-playing game enthusiasts and newcomers.
Earning the title of the best multi-device game, Outerplane – Strategy Anime impressed with its seamless performance across both mobile and PC platforms. However, users had a differing viewpoint, selecting Monopoly Go! as the Users’ Choice Game of the Year.
Monopoly Go is a modern version of the classic board game Monopoly that was released in 2021. The game aims to provide a faster and more streamlined Monopoly experience.
