Jujutsu Kaisen Phantom Parade is a new role-playing anime game for smartphones. this game is based on the anime “Jujutsu Kaisen”, and developed by Sumzap. The release date is undetermined and more details will be announced later.
Jujutsu Kaisen is a massive hit in the anime sphere and features a school of teenagers doing battle against an army of evil curses – demons manifested from a gathering of negative emotions. It includes plenty of high-octane battles, lots of beautiful animation, and some extremely beloved characters.
In addition to Gojo, Itadori and company, this title for smartphones will have totally original characters, that is, they don’t appear in the Jujutsu Kaisen manga or anime At the moment we know the identity and appearance of three of them: Saki Rindo (voiced by Rina Satou, known for playing Mikoto in A Certain Magical Index), a first-year student at the Fukuoka School for Wizards, Kaito Yuki (voiced by Kotaro Nishiyama, who plays Yoshiharu in Kiznaiver), a first-year student at the Fukuoka School for Wizards and Kensuke Nagino (voiced by Rikiya Koyama, who plays Kiritsugu Emiya in Fate), headmaster of said school.
Details on Phantom Parade are fairly light currently, unfortunately, as we really aren’t even too sure what sort of game it will be. The trailer features a few 2.5D-esque shots of various characters from the series, but not too much beyond that, and the Google Play page only shows visual novel-type screenshots.
However, it’s rumored to be a turn-based RPG, almost assuredly a gacha game as well. The game will include the favourite characters from the anime series squaring off against some recognizable Curses. Jujutsu Kaisen is one of those mobile games that will very likely explode in popularity. For now, it’s only been confirmed for Japan audiences, who can pre-register on Google Play right now. A localization effort has not been confirmed but is expected.
