If you were anticipating the launch of Rainbow Six Mobile and The Division Resurgence this year, there’s some disappointing news. Ubisoft has confirmed that the releases of both games have been postponed indefinitely.
This delay is a setback for the France-based video game giant, which had planned to release both titles this year. Ubisoft had previously expressed optimism for a successful fiscal year 2025 following a strong previous year. However, the company announced in its first-quarter results for 2024-25 that the postponements are necessary to ensure the games meet expectations and deliver optimized performance in a demanding market.
The fiscal year referred to spans from April 1, 2024, to March 31, 2025. Consequently, Rainbow Six Mobile and The Division Resurgence will not be released within this timeframe. Instead, their release is expected sometime after April 1, 2025.
These are not the only games facing delays. Tencent Games also postponed the release of Party Stars and shifted Assassin’s Creed Jade to 2025. Despite these delays, Ubisoft assures fans that other titles, such as Assassin’s Creed Shadows and Star Wars Outlaws, will be available in the upcoming fiscal year.
While mobile gamers will have to wait longer for Rainbow Six Mobile and The Division Resurgence, Ubisoft’s lineup for the rest of FY25 promises exciting releases for fans across different platforms.
